  1. Got my passes. What rides / parties are happening pre or post opening? As it starts on the last Friday of October is Critical Mass riding past there?

  2. Congrats! You’ve just secured your seat to the Bicycle Film Festival! I don’t know about you but I’m excited!

The Bicycle Film Festival officially begins on Thursday 26th with a party at Hermann’s Bar, cnr City Rd and Butlin Ave. Details won’t be released until a few days before the event so keep your eye out for what things we have planned!

Critical Mass will be ending at the Sydney Bicycle Film Festival on Friday night (or at least that’s what was casually planned last month). There’s a reception at the theatre from 6pm so hopefully Critical Mass won’t be too late in arriving as the free finger food and drinks will run out! Try to remember to byo food for dinner so you won’t go hungry during the screenings. I’ll try arrange some food for sale, but be prepared! Yes, there will be another bike party after screenings conclude. Info will again be up on http://www.bicyclefilmfestival.com

Screenings resume Saturday morning and will officially finish at 11pm. A massive afterparty to end festivities will happen at Hermann’s Bar. We will be tapping onto the end of a party called Soylent Green so make sure you get your ticket on the BFF days so you can come to this after-party for free! Soylent Green will be allowing Bicycle Film Festvail attendees to enter their party for free from 10pm. Again, more info will be released on the web soon!

This is going to be a fantastic event and I personally can’t wait to have such an exciting 3-day celebration about bicycles! I’m kinda looking forward to meeting all the Festival Pass holders too to recognise people in Sydney who are as passionate and who love bicycles as much as I do!

Wow! Hope this long response answers your questions!

  7. CHANGE OF VENUE: the Student Union rang yesterday to say the festival will now be held in the Old Geology Lecture Theatre near the Holme Building on USyd Campus NOT the one advertiese. This is apparently near the overpass on Parra Rd. You might want to check this out
