City of Sydney Bike Expo

Martin place, this wednesday. We’ll be there showing our stuff, including a Christiania Trike, new Dahon folders, a Rohloff bike and Surly touring bike. What else ?

Part of NSW Bike Week, the expo will feature demonstrations, competitions and prizes. There will also be information about bicycles and advice on the best routes to cycle around the city or to work.

You can learn about the exciting plans the City of Sydney has to make the city really bike-friendly city through its ten year Cycle Strategy, which aims to build a cycle network throughout the city and increase cycling by 500 per cent.

Stalls from health organisations will provide information about the many health and social benefits of cycling.

  1. Great to see the event so packed out – a heap of people there. Cheeky T wins the coolest stand with the most interesting bikes award. Dave blew away all other entrants in the fashion statement corporate look award with the floppy hat – seriously understated! Ooh yeah
